About CJSmusic and the School of Music

"Play. Create. Inspire."

The words above are the pillars on which CJSmusic creates music lessons. They come from our belief that music can be enjoyed from anywhere at anytime. It's also a reminder that music will evoke emotion and inspire something from inside of us, something that makes us better than we were before.

What We Do

Through our online music lessons and music lessons in London, ON CJSmusic helps busy professionals and families learn music from the comfort of their own home. We strive to make your music learning experience fun, rewarding and easy to maintain.

Jordan Stevens

Owner and Director of Music Education

Almost born with a guitar in his hand, Jordan Stevens is instrumental in inspiring people of all ages to learn music and perform at their best. As the owner and chief noisemaker he plays a pivotal role in developing a fresh way to learn music. Jordan continues to set the standard by working expressively with all of his students whether it is piano, guitar, film scoring or music software training.

As a Hollywood trained composer Jordan brings skills and experience that are unique, creative and profitable. With that Jordan is able to teach his students music that is fun and applicable to real world jobs.

The Story Behind the Music

Jordan was born with congenital measles that has affected his hearing and eye sight to the point where he is partially blind in his left eye and hearing impaired in his left ear.

Most would consider this to be a setback in his career as a musician. Through hard work and perseverance he uses his uniqueness to create an exceptional learning environment for his students. His dedication has allowed him to achieve the highest of accolades including a honors degree in music from the University of Western Ontario, a scholarship from Mohawk College and a performance of a Mozart piano concerto with the Mohawk College/Hamilton Orchestra.

Outside of CJSmusic, Jordan is active in the community. Every month he helps Orchestra London extend their reach to locals who enjoy music. As well, for the past 4 years he has been a member of the London Silver Dolphins masters swim team. The joy of striving to be the best is what keeps him going.
